Elke has been working with start-up and emerging growth businesses since 1998, when she was an associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Philadelphia.  She moved to New York City in 2000 to join an internet start-up as its General Counsel.  After working at Shalov Stone & Bonner LLP and at Richards Kibbe Orbe LLP, she realized she missed working with entrepreneurs and small businesses.  She started representing restaurants, bars and wine and spirits stores in 2004, and has never looked back.
